What is the vision of the YMCA of Burundi?
The YMCA of Burundi is hosting a Pastor’s Conference, Youth Camp, and Staff Training and has invited us to serve them. The Burundi YMCA is doing a great job exalting Christ by demonstrating the gospel through a weekly feeding program for children and proclaiming the gospel to them through various Bible studies and discipleship.
Their vision is to build a Pastoral Training Center, a school, and a feeding center, all under the YMCA. In addition, they want to plant a church that would reach people for Christ and help them grow for His glory.
Therefore, we are taking this mission trip to prayerfully establish and sustain a long-term, healthy partnership with the YMCA of Burundi and its future church plant to advance God’s kingdom.
Who will go on this vision trip?
We are looking to bring a team of 10-12 people from around the country who love the Lord and His church and who believe in the strategy of planting churches in the YMCA. The various roles we will need consist of serving the pastors during the conference, ministering to the staff of the YMCA (men and women), serving at the camp in various roles (games, leading lessons, sharing testimonies, leading worship)
The Cost + Deadlines
Total Trip Cost: $3,000
The largest cost of the trip is the airfare. Airfare is roughly $2200/ticket. The other costs will cover your food, lodging, running the camp, and conference and staff training.

July 23rd | Departure Flight from Burundi in the evening
